SOCIAL REPONSIBILITY

The CAS lives the social responsibility of the organization. The program leaders, employees and participants actively help needy people in Costa Rica. The projects are carefully selected so that something is really moved and changed.

CAS helps a needy family in a very poor area in the north of Costa Rica. The support is not only financial, but CAS has undertaken two trips with program participants and all have been actively involved. In this way, CAS also contributes to international understanding and promotes the participants‘ awareness of other social realities.

Furthermore, a lot of volleyball and football was played between the volunteers and local youth/children. Through sport, young people and children should find each other, be active and learn to stay away from drugs, alcohol and cigarettes.

For Christmas, CAS, together with the young participants, launched a gift campaign several times in order to bring joy to needy children in Pavas (in the west of San José).
